School Curriculum

The School spans from class I – X. Formal teaching begins at class I, where subjects like English, Hindi, Marathi, Maths, EVS, Craft and Drawing are introduced. Computer starts from class I.

Fee Structure

The School Fees are payable for all 12 months of the Academic year Payments can be done through Gpay, PhonePe, School App, NEFT,Debit Card or through Cheque:

For the Primary & Secondary section ( Std I to X) ,Cheque must be in favour of “ St. Thomas High School”. For Pre-primary section ( Nursery, Jr.Kg, Sr. Kg)Cheque must be in favour of ” St. Johns Pre Primary School” , Gpay, PhonePe, School App or NEFT.

If payment is done through NEFT Transfer,mail should be compulsorily be done on the School Id ( stthomashsacc@gmail.com Or st.thomaskalyan@rediffmail.com )otherwise fees will not be accounted .

  • Fees will be collected from 5 th to 20 th of every month( Due date).
  • Fees will be accepted on working days, during office hours 8.am to 12.30 pm.
  • Payment of fees after the due date( 20 th of every month) will be accepted only with a fine of Rs. 50/-per month.
  • The term fees will be collected in the month of July & January.
  • Pupils will not be allowed to appear for the terminal or final examination unless all the dues are paid.
  • The fees of Class X must be cleared before 25 th January.

Examination

The method used for the evaluation of the students is “Continuous Evaluation and Assessment of Board Learning”. It consist of two methods :

1) Formative Evaluation : Formative Evaluation is aimed at judging and promoting not only physical, intellectual and emotional development but also the total development of a student, to help him to become an Independent responsible citizen. It is an ongoing process of evaluation by using the techniques such as Daily Observation, Oral works (Questions and answer, loud reading in class oral conversation, playacting etc.), Practical Demonstration experiments, activities and action, projects, Random informal written tests, class work etc.

2) Summative Evaluation : It is composite evaluation done at the end of each semester. It consist of written, oral and practical questions depending of the subject.

Uniform

All the students must attend the school only in the prescribed school uniform. A student not in uniform without sufficient reason is liable to be sent home.

Boys:

STD I to IV : Oxford Shirt,Checks Halfpant,Waistcoat Jacket,Tie, Socks, Belts,Black Shoes.

STD V to X : Oxford Shirt,Checks Full Pant,Waist Coat Jacket,Tie,Socks & Belt,Black Shoes Hair only military cut.

Girls:

STD I to IV : Oxford Shirt, Checks Skirt,Waistcoat Jacket, Black shoes, Tie and belt.

STD V to X : Oxford Shirt, Checks Full Pant,Waistcoat Jacket, Black shoes, Tie and belt.
